Intro

In our physical computing class, we were asked to create an object with some LEDs that turn on and off with a homemade switch. During this assignment, we ended up working on two projects.

Brainstorming

We brainstormed a collection of some ideas for our first physical computing assignment. Here are the brainstormed ideas:

1. SVA Map

2. Halloween Pumpkin

3. Big Apple

4. NYC City Skyline

5. Pop-up Greeting Card with LED

   

   

After careful consideration, we decided to combine ideas 5 and the graphic components of 2. We added a pop-up element (a Halloween pumpkin) to the center of the greeting card so that it lights up when the card is opened.
